In which Stella throws a fit

Upset because I'd placed a cookie sheet on the stove, blocking her from one of her favorite perching spots, Stella lets me know about her unhappiness...

Gosh, that's just how I feel a lot of times!

Good thing you have impulse control -- something she lacks :)

that clanging sound could also have been a fun thing for her. :)

Lime bars.. are those from your "how to cook everything vegetarian" cookbook?

Mallow -- she does like to make noise! But I think I saw a self-satisfied look on her face when she got the pan to clatter to the floor (even louder noise) so she could perch on the burner.

And yes, the lime bars are from that cookbook. How did I live before I had it? :)

Mallow -- I am curious to hear if you like it as much as I do! Just made the caramel walnut bars and will have some for dessert tonight. Yea!

I'm going to cheat and use Nelly and Joe's key lime juice. Whole Foods had limes @ 2/$1.00. No thanks.

Caramel walnut bars sound equally good too. What about pecans instead of walnuts... yummmm!

I had to buy lime juice, too. I don't have a citrus juicer, so my lime pretty much went to waste as I couldn't get much juice or rind out of it :(

I'd bet pecans would be delicious! The caramel walnut bars were good, but Thomas added chocolate chips. Plus, you need to keep them in the fridge so the topping doesn't melt. I'll try tor emember to take a picture tonight!
