We continue to be entranced by Brian. Almost every day he does something new, says a new word, and just proves to be a delight.
Right before I took this picture, he was preening Thomas's meager beard:
Lately he's been coming over and making himself as tall as he can, stretching up. We've been putting our noses down and he likes to stand nose to beak for a few minutes. Then he usually starts preening our faces.
He was preening my coffee cup, but moved his head to come over to me when he saw the camera:

Brian is so adorable . It is a wonder how the bigger birds dont give him a good go around . Or have you taught them that is unacceptable .
I think you need to send Brian to my house. He's far too cute for y'all. ;-)
Is his tumor shrinking or growing, or are things stable for him now?
PL -- We are VERY cautious when we have Brian and the larger birds out at the same time since they could do significant damage in no time flat.
I would never just rely on training them to stay away to keep him safe!
However, Beeps is the only one who's shown any aggression at all against Brian (and that was months ago when Beeps was hormonal and Brian was in his cage) -- we still don't ever let the two of them out of their cages at the same time.
We are super careful :)
BP -- he is amazing! Just like Ethel, a budgie we had before the blog. I would have loved to see the two of them interact with each other!
His tumor has been stable. We haven't noticed him slowing down recently, so we are hopeful, but still treasure every day with him since no matter how many there are, it won't be enough!
