From 2007-2011 this blog was mainly about my animals with a bit of off-topic chatter. Then my husband shocked me by confessing to an affair. We've divorced. Life is better than ever!
We are very very careful when Brian is out, so the greys do not get anywhere near him.
They do not seem interested in him at all (perhaps because he's so small they don't recognize him as competition?) but we still do not take any chances!
Thomas had Max's head under control here and had his other arm ready to intervene and grab Brian, should it have become necessary to save him.
I have known far too many budgies who died of wounds inflicted by larger birds, so we err on the extreme side of caution!
