I know that this blog is mainly about parrots, with the occasional lizard or fish story, but I wanted to share what's going on at my work. There is a nest high up, above our entrance. I first noticed this because of all of the droppings at our front door, and I really want to thank building managment for allowing nature to happen in the city!Here is an up-close picture of our visitors. These three babies have been growing in the nest and will probably soon fledge. I am not an expert bird-identifier by any means, but based on other birds that fly around near my office and the nest, we think these are barn swallows. Aren't they adorable?
