Calypso update

He's doing much better -- he's almost completely healed from his mutilation. The best part is he's been in his cage since last Friday -- no more hot box!

The first few times we came home, it was sad that he wasn't in the kitchen to greet us, but it's better for him to be in his cage.

This morning, Max was threatening him a bit as he was hanging upside down from the wreath -- by the time I got my camera he was upright again and Max was trying to look innocent. But you can see that her wings are slightly fanned -- she was definitely up to something. Don't believe that innocent look!
