So neglected that he has to climb on Brian's cage to eat budgie seed:
He mustn't have found anything he wanted, as soon after these pictures were taken, he climbed down and went to his cage for his real breakfast.

Poor baby! If you didn't know better you'd think he never gets any attention or treats -- that sad expression on his face is priceless.
Thanks for your note, Mary! I'm a little (ha - a LOT) confused. My favorite vet blogs are Homeless Parrot, the Critical Vet, and Helping Them Speak -- Critical and Helping are the links I sent you, right?
I'm so jealous of you having a good parrot rescue so close you can volunteer. We have, finally, ONE rescue in the entire state and that is just a woman in a house with friends who will foster until adoption, about 2 hours away from here. That reminds me -- gotta go buy a lottery ticket! ;-)
Ha ha! This happens in my house too. My Meyer's loves to go into my lovebird's cage and eat his food. In fact, once she was eating her own leftovers because she I put her uneaten Harrison's in the lovebird's cage.
Silly birds :)
(I had to delete and post this comment again because I used "to" instead of "too." I couldn't bear the shame. LOL)
oh yes poor baby I never have had one that did this . so cute .
Poor poor Rocky!! LOL of course he's not a pampered parrot! Btw..I wanted to share with you some hand saver perches that I just received. I think that you mentioned that you have a handsoff relationship with Rocky and can only handle with with a stick? Maybe you'll find this helpful.
