Up to her old tricks

In the vein of be careful what you wish for, Max is occasionally a retrieving maniac. I've shown some of this before, like here.

I was chopping strawberries for our salads last night. Somehow, Max grabbed one and then placed it in a coffee cup. I was completely oblivious to this, until Thomas asked me what kind of weird coffee drink I was planning:
I didn't understand what he was talking about until I realized what Max must have done!
