Max wants attention

Thomas recently had to break up a stand-off between Rocky and Max. Both birds were pretty agitated, so he took a stick and used that to separate them. Though this was not his intent, Max decided to step up on the stick.After giving her some head pets and talking to her a bit, Thomas tried to deposit her on her stand:


Max knows very clearly what he wants, and would usually immediately go on the stand. However, as you can see by the end of the video, where she eschews the stand and instead climbs onto his fist, she wanted more from him.
