Excess weight
Last night, Beeps came flying into the kitchen. He's not the best flyer in general -- he lacks stamina -- but last night he was worse than usual. He couldn't keep elevation and ended up crash landing on the floor.
Could it be the excess weight he was carrying as he came in with a giant cashew?
Whatever the reason for that bad flight, he started flying normally again later, so no vet visit is needed to look into this unexplained change.
