Pleco

We only get a pleco sighting every few months. We have gone over a year without seeing her. But she was out last night! She blends in so well -- nature is amazing. She's grown quite a bit since the last time I saw her. According to the websites I found, she should be full-grown now.

What's a pleco and are you sure she's in there? I can't see a thing!

She's an algae-eating catfish. She is on the piece of wood. I am trying to figure out how to circle her. I will do that as soon as I can, but she is really camouflaged!

Ah, a catfish! I thought she was another one of your reptiles!

I enlarged the picture and see several dots that might be eyes, but I can't tell where the piece of wood is (I promise I'm not blind!). I trust you and am thrilled to take your word for it. But she really is well hidden, isn't she?

Still haven't figured out how to circle her -- I may have time next week to figure it out, but I suspect you found her with the eyes.

She is an amazing hider! We've thought her dead and disappeared on several occasions after not seeing her for a year-plus.

She's a little easier to see in person than in this picture, but not by much :)
